Grace's Story- and a little vent HA!

This is my little girl! Born Feb 16th, 2005. She is the light of my life and I absolutely adore her. When I first found out that I was pregnant with her I was terrified. I was halfway through college at Fanshawe and hadn't been with her father for very long. Mason (her bio father) were on the verge of break up as it was and being pregnant I felt the pressure to stay with him. Four months into my pregnancy I chose to be happy and ended the relationship with high hopes that we would still be able to work together and parent this sweet little girl. I have found out over time that he is not ready to be a father. It started when he stopped paying child support in July of 2006 and hasn't since then, with no court order he continued to visit Gracie as I would not be the one who stands inbetween them. Then Mason began to show up later and leave earlier for his visits sometimes without showing up at all. Visits became more spread out and he sometimes goes weeks and even months without contact. As of right now it has been a month and a half since he has pursued any contact with his daughter. At this point I wish that he would just fade away so he will stop playing with Grace's emotions and confusing her. I fear what I will say to him when he comes out of the dark and acts like he hasn't done anything wrong. *SIGH*. Despite his irregularity and non-devotion, Gracie has turned into a brilliant, beautiful, HAPPY child. She is loved by everyone who knows her and is a very well-adjusted child. She is surrounded by the love of her Mima, Papa, Aunt Kelly, Uncle Dan and her best buddy Arthur whom she attaches with more and more each day. I am confident in her future as a successful woman due to her amazing role models. Without further adieu, here are some recent pics of my little sweetheart!!
